Sorry for the hiatus. Here are some new sketches: I started doing a character a day to keep a good habit and stretching the brain muscle. So far I made it to the end of week 2, break on Sundays.
Newest first, from May 31st:
5/31: inspired by Bobby Chiu and Chris Sanders style. |
5/30: for a friend who loves mermaids and foxes. |
5/29: undecided on the color. |
5/28: happy T-rex |
5/27 (after break): animation character design: animal that acts like people and people that looks like an animal |
5/25: my comfort zone: girls portrait :P |
5/24 |
5/23: crab ride. |
May 22nd |
May 20th: portrait of Alex. May 21st: seems like this bird is from my listening to Legend of Mana song. |
This personal project has been very fun. Sure it's challenging to come up with something everyday, and it's really good practice, for the brain and the hand, and the best part is I can draw whatever I want in any style I like :D.
I try to keep it short and simple, rough sketches, for I realize now it's getting harder for my current level. I need to do more studies. I hope I can keep this up for a month, two months, or more. It has started to feel like the day is incomplete without getting a sketch out everyday :D.
CDA is starting, and it's midterm at Gnomon, gotta improve!
